US Citizenship Requirements

East Central Massachusetts News promotes citizenship and pondered the question of what it is expected of us in the United States and ECM Country.

The US Citizen and Immigration Service presents a long and boring multi-media offering on “Becoming a U.S. Citizen: An Overview of the Naturalization Process.”  If you were born elsewhere you must live in the United States five years before applying for citizenship or if you married an American three years.

USCIS offers a list of study resources.  On the list is the Citizens Almanac.  What every American is expected to know.
