Remember the Less Fortunate

Citizenship requires attention to those who have less.  As we plan for Memorial Day in its true meaning and the official start of summer be mindful of those who have no choices.  Lowell, MA is in ECM Country.

Lowell map

Lowell is the fourth largest city in the Bay State and strategically located near I-93 and I-495.  The Lowell National Park marks the city’s contribution to the Industrial Revolution.

Just a 40-minute rail commute from Boston and Lowell has marked significant growth and change in years past.

This YouTube video of a homeless camp near Lowell, however, reminds how the current economy affects all there is to boast about.

So remember as we gripe and prepare for a Memorial Day weekend there are those who would love such an opportunity.

Monday, ECMNooz, our YouTube channel, featuring videos like the one in this post will become a permanent part of East Central Massachusetts News and compliment our posts.
