History Meets in Shirley, MA

Shirley, Massachusetts Historical Commission meets at 6:30P EDT tonight, May 19th.  It’s their regularly scheduled gathering at Town Hall.

The Shirley Historical Society Museum, opened on Mondays and Saturdays 10A to 1P, appears gearing up for summer like the rest of ECM Country.  First event is Sunday May 24th – Shirley’s Memorial Day Observances - 9:30A, Ecumenical Service at First Parish Meetinghouse. 

Members of the American Legion are expected to visit town cemeteries and lay wreaths following the morning service. Speeches scheduled in the Center - 2:00P. 

The parade is set to kick off in Shirley Village and go to Whitely Park.shirley historical society map
